Brain Science International Course
Fundamentals of Neuroscience for Neurofeedback Certificate for Practitioners
This course provides practitioners of Neurofeedback the necessary training in understanding the fundamentals of neuroscience with a focus on neuropharmacology, neuroanatomy and neurophysiology. Neuropharmacology is the study of drugs and their interaction with the brain to alter cellular function at a molecular level. The material covered by this course includes: principles of drug-receptor interactions; dose-response curves; drug mechanisms of action; drugs as tools to achieve knowledge of cell macromolecule structure and function; basic neurotransmitter systems and their anatomy; and the basis of the excitable membrane and signal propagation. Threaded neuroethics discussions on BSI Facebook page will address key ethical issues facing the field of neurofeedback.
