Did you know you can share your Flickr photos on your Nfomedia profile?

It's easy, here's how:

1. Log in to your Flickr account ( http://www.flickr.com/ ) and go to the Flickr badge page ( http://www.flickr.com/badge.gne ). Follow the steps, choosing your layout and colors, until you reach the final screen giving you the necessary HTML code.
2. Next, edit your Nfomedia profile and 'paste' the HTML code given by the Flickr website into the Advanced HTML box on your Nfomedia profile page.
3. Click SAVE and your photos will appear.

We have received a few emails requesting instructions on how to disable
notifications.  The process is quick and simple.  When you login, click on ?My Accounts.?  You will now see a menu item labeled ?Notification Settings.?  Select this option and uncheck the notifications you do not wish to receive.  Finally, click ?Save? and your notification settings are changed.

Introducing Course Blogs ? share your thoughts on topics in the news as they relate to your courses. Course Blogs can be used as a group weblog (where the entire class can participate) or as an administrator only weblog. Blogs are open to the public and viewable by anyone on the internet. Additionally, you can choose to have Nfomedia submit your blog (periodically) to search engines to help increase site traffic. For administrators, a link to the course gradebook allows for easy scoring of entries made by students. RSS 2.0 and Atom feeds are also supported.

Course Blogs are available to all Nfomedia course sites and can be enabled under the Features section of the Site Settings menu option.

Now you can stay updated with your courses while on the go. Nfomedia can forward notifications (including course announcements, nfo mail, message board topics and course grades) to your cell phone. To enable text messaging for your account go to Notification Settings under My Account (or click the link below).

Students can subscribe to the Announcements section of their course using news feeds. Both RSS 2.0 and and Atom formats are supported. A link to subscribe can be found at the bottom of the Announcements page.

The Announcements menu option is now available for use with course websites -- providing a quick and simple way for professors to post news or information throughout the semester. Only the course administrator (or an individual authorized by the course administrator) can enter/edit/delete announcements for students to read. All announcements have a time/date stamp and are ordered from newest to oldest.

Student journals are now available with professor review/comments and a gradebook link for scoring journal entries. Journal entries can be used to demonstrate an understanding of conceptual knowledge as well as writing proficiency.

Courses now display the correct time zone according to the local time zone of the associated university (applies to message board, journals, etc).

Added the ability to upload an image to your personal profile page. The image appears when someone views your profile.

The Nfo Store is now open and selling the first Nfomedia T-Shirt with more items to come.

We are pleased to announce increased availability now to professors at over 104 universities. Also, site icons have been added to represent each school.

Nfo Mail is now available for sending messages to other users. You can also create a personal profile describing your studies and work for others to view. Maintain a list of contacts for sending Nfo Mail to other users. To add someone as a contact click the profile icon next to a user's name where ever it may appear.
