The course highlights major evolutions in the history of computers and computing. The course also handles issues related to understanding the computer systems and its basic hardware and software, terminology, and networking principles. Computer Application Course Description This course introduces a historical perspective of computing, hardware, software, information systems, and human resources and explores their integration and application in business and other segments of society. Students will be required to complete lab assignments using the PC operating system, and several commonly used applications, such as word processors, Internet browsers and search engines, spreadsheets and graphics presentations applications. 3 hours lecture including Lab.
